The Hills Sculpture Walk - The Hills Club House

Thursday 3 October, 2.30 pm

ACAS members and guests are invited for an exclusive guided walk around The Hills Golf Course Sculpture collection Refreshments included. $50 for  ACAS members. $60 non members. Book

Life Between Two Shores - Lakes District Museum and Gallery

Thursday 17th October 6.30 pm Opening Night

Guest artist Matt Gauldie will talk about his time being the official New Zealand Army Artist and creating art in war zones. Life Between Two Shores is his creative search into identity, New Zealand history, culture and his own family history. Opening night refreshments included. (Exhibition will remain open 17-28 October). Book

Kate De Goldi

Friday 18th October 5 - 6 pm, Athenaeum Hall

Enjoy an hour with award-winning Kate De Goldi, one of New Zealand's most loved authors whose short novels engage children, teenagers and adults alike. Kate is joined in conversation with local freelance writer Bethany Rodgers.  $15 for members, $20 for non -members. Book

Guitar Jamming

Make an Artist's Book

Monday 21 October 9-12 noon - Arrowtown Tennis Rooms

Local artist Sue Marshall will teach how to make an artist's book using the Japanese Bookbinding Technique.  $50 for members, $65 for non-members.  Suitable for ages 16 and over. Materials Supplied. Resource fee $15 payable on the day. Limited places. Book 

Looking Through The Layers (Still Life)

Local artist Ro Bradshaw explores the creative process of layering using different substrates and mediums including painting and collage.  $50 for members. $65 for non-members. Suitable for ages 16 and over. Materials supplied. Resource fee $15 payable on the day. Limited  places. Book

"Whiteley" A Documentary

The biting satire of Sir Bob Jones, the provocative newspaper columnist, richlister and novelist will come under the microscope.
