Astor Bristed is a contemporary art gallery in Arrowtown. Established in 2019 in a tiny loft, it has recently expanded into a spacious new gallery on the main street.
With selected New Zealand and international art, Astor Bristed provides thoughtful art for acquisition, contemplation and meaningful discussions to the burgeoning community of arts enthusiasts in the Central Otago region and wider New Zealand.

Australia’s first saint, Sister Mary MacKillop visited Arrowtown in 1897 and set up a Catholic School. Part of this school can still be visited today.
