Snow Sports

Arrowtown is the ideal base for a snow holiday. Just 20 minutes' drive from Queenstown Airport, it's perfectly positioned between Queenstown and Wanaka, giving easy access to three skifields and a cross-country skiing complex. 

 

International ski racing teams know all about Arrowtown's charms and it is a favoured base for training during the southern hemisphere winter. Why? Well it's less frenetic than Queenstown but has cosy bars, awarding-winning restaurants and a cinema for après ski. For the days you're not on the slopes there's the boutique shops,  vast network of walking and biking tracks and the museum to explore.

The Snow Farm is New Zealand's only Nordic Ski Resort and is currently temporarily closed
