Willowbrook B&B and Cottages

Willowbrook offers both Bed & Breakfast and Self-Catering accommodation in an idyllic, rural location below Coronet Peak skifield. Surrounded by majestic alpine scenery, we are only 15 minutes from Queenstown and 5 minutes from historical Arrowtown and The Hills course - home of the NZ Open Golf Championship. Award-winning Millbrook Resort is also close by (just 3 minutes drive) and we are within easy reach of 5 skifields and 4 very picturesque golf courses. The 4 acres of mature garden surrounding the Main House of Willowbrook contain a tennis court, a luxurious spa pool and some very friendly sheep.

There are 3 centrally heated double rooms in the MAIN HOUSE, each with ensuite or private bathroom and the large guest lounge has open fires, Sky TV and a computer for guests to use. (Free wireless broadband for your laptop is available throughout Willowbrook). A delicious continental breakfast of juice, peeled and sliced fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, homemade bread and tea or coffee is served by the fire in the guest lounge and as agents for most of the local operators, we can advise on activities and make bookings for you.

WILLOWBROOK COTTAGE provides delightfully comfortable accommodation for 4 (max. 5) persons. It has queen and twin bedrooms, both with ensuite bathroom (one with large wet area & bathtub), full kitchen and laundry facilities, lounge/dining areas, underfloor heating throughout and spacious sundecks with BBQ. The property has Sky TV, DVD and free wireless internet access and with its own driveway, lawn and car park, The Cottage is as private as you want it to be.

WILLOWBROOK BARN with Annex comprises two very large rooms and one bathroom. The larger of the two rooms is set out in studio apartment style with a super king bed, ensuite bathroom, well-equipped kitchenette and lounge/dining area with tables, chairs and sofas. Through a connecting door is The Annex which has twin single beds and two bunk beds. There is a covered deck with BBQ and the property has Sky TV and free wireless internet access. Maximum occupancy is 6 persons.

Trish and Tony are your hosts at the historic rural Willowbrook Bed & Breakfast and Cottage accommodation. They are a charming Kiwi couple whose friendly South Island hospitality we know you'll enjoy. After a warm welcome they are there for any questions you may have or they are not there if all you want to do is 'flake out' in the lounge (or in your room).

Trish and Tony live in the Main House of Willowbrook, a short distance from our self-contained accommodation, The Cottage and The Barn. Those guests who prefer the self-catering environment of The Cottage and The Barn are still most welcome to call at the B&B to ask Trish and Tony for advice on the many things to see and do in the exciting Wakatipu region. Or maybe you need directions to Queenstown or Arrowtown or Milford Sound - whatever it is, simply wander over to the Main House and they will be more than happy to help you.

Willowbrook is an accredited booking agent for most of the local tour and activity operators enabling guests to plan their own itineraries from the comfort of their accommodation. Trish and Tony have 'sampled' many of these Queenstown tours and activities and along with their extensive local knowledge, can offer constructive advice helping you to get the most out of your Queenstown experience. Tours and activities can then be booked and charged back to your account so you have only one bill to settle!

One of the things Trish and Tony enjoy most is meeting people from all over the world and if your native language happens to be something other than English, you need have no fear - they are very good communicators! From serving you a delicious breakfast, to making sure you don't get lost, to advising you for (or against …) that bungy jump you've always wanted to do, rest assured Trish and Tony will take good care of you.
